Harem Royale - When the Game Ends - (恋愛ハーレムゲーム終了のお知らせがくる頃に, Ren'ai Harem Game Shuuryou no Oshirase ga kuru Koro ni) is a horror harem manga series written by Ryukishi07 and illustrated by Yukari Higa.

An English translation of the manga was licensed and distributed by Sol Press, however the company went out of business in 2021, having published English translations of only the first two volumes of the manga.

Plot

When the Game Ends follows a group of schoolgirls who are roped into a game by a supernatural being named Zepfur. The objective of the game is to win the heart of Asunaro Kohinata, and the consequence of losing is eternal damnation. Each girl receives an app on their phone that documents the "hearts" they have achieved. Each girl begins the game with two hearts. If a girl manages to get seven hearts then she wins the game while falling to zero hearts means she loses the game.

Characters

Asunaro Kohinata
A nondescript second year high school student and the focus of the harem game. Each girl in the game must attempt to win his heart or else face death.
Serika Furuwada
One of Asunaro's classmates and a participant in the Harem Royale. Serika takes charge as the leader of the heroines in an effort to prevent any of them from dying during the game.
Saya Tatewaki
A popular girl in Asunaro's class and a participant in the Harem Royale. She comes from a successful, traditional family.
Heather Shinonome
One of Asunaro's classmates and a participant in the Harem Royale. Blonde and highly energetic. Heather is initially standoffish towards the other participants. She is a talented track runner who aspires to be faster than her older sister.
Liru Yumezuka
One of Asunaro's underclassmen and a participant in the Harem Royale. She is an avid artist who hopes to create a successful manga manuscript so that she can provide for her large family. She speaks with a notable lisp.
Ren Suigyokuin
The student council president. She is the fifth participant of the Harem Royale and initially goes to great lengths to keep her involvement a secret. She comes from a wealthy family and abuses the Harem Royale game to increase her riches.
Wakako Konohana
The moral enforcer of the student council. She is used as a decoy by Ren.
Zepafur
A supernatural being indebted to Asunaro. Zepafur is responsible for the creation of the harem game that the other characters play.
